Nancy Jule “Judy” Trammell Wilson passed away on November 30, 2017 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center in Columbia, TN. Judy was born on May 17, 1937 in Leaksville, NC. She grew up in Auburn, AL and attended Auburn University where she met her husband, Wayne Weaver Wilson.
Judy was a professional homemaker and mom. Before moving to Tennessee, Judy was a longtime resident of Montrose, AL for 55 years and enjoyed volunteering with Thomas Hospital, The Girl Scouts, and The Fairhope United Methodist Church. She was also a master at playing bridge and enjoyed outings that celebrated her family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Judy is survived by Rene’ Wilson(Deb Richter) of Brevard, NC; Audre (Byron) Coleman of Columbia, TN; Alan (Donna) Wilson of Stapleton, AL; and Donna Wilson Elkins of Mobile, AL; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, James Harry Trammell and Billie Mae Sirmans Trammell, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Wayne Wilson and her son, Weaver Wilson.
