Nancy Jane Raines Cooper was born February 6, 1966 in Selmer, TN the daughter of Larry and Kay Garrison Raines.

She was united in marriage to Phillip Cooper on July 25, 1987.

Nancy Jane was a graduate of McNairy Central High School. Following graduation, she attended Faulkner University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. Nancy Jane was employed as a case worker for the Tennessee Valley Regional Housing Authority in Corinth, MS for 12 years. She loved going to the beach, and enjoyed following Tony Stewart on the NASCAR circuit. Nancy Jane was a great supporter of Adamsville sports and band, and she also followed the University of Tennessee football and basketball teams. She helped raise funds for the Stantonville Volunteer Fire Department, and was active in the Stantonville Methodist Church, where she attended with her family.

Nancy Jane departed this life on October 28, 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 46 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Phillip Cooper of Stantonville, TN; two daughters, Lauren Cooper and Anna Cooper, both of Stantonville, TN; her parents, Larry and Kay Raines of Stantonville, TN; her in-laws, James and Betty Cooper of Bethel Springs, TN; special friend Dr. Ryan Bartz; and many extended family and friends.
