Nancy Jane Phillips, 76 of Empire, passed away March 16, 2023. She was a homemaker and a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday March 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charlie Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in New Canaan Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 1-2 pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Phillips; parents, Daniel and Willie Mae Johnston; sister, Anna Leonard; father and mother in law, Lester and Kathleen Phillips and sister-in-law, Regina Phillips.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be remembered by her daughters, Susan Watts and husband Jerry and Stephanie Taylor and husband Brian; grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Harper, Mason and Madison; special friend, Gene Pate; several other relatives and many friends.
The family wishes to say thank you to their family and friends for all the thoughts and prayers for Mrs. Phillips.
