Nancy J. “Janie” Putman, of Florence, went home to be with her Lord, Jan. 10, 2015, after an extended illness. She was employed at the International Paper Mill for 30 years.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie E. and Ora Ezell Putman, brother, Dennis M. Putman, and sisters, Louise Berness, Joyce Putman, and Nell Holden.
She is survived by her brothers, Jessie E. Putman Jr. and Gene Arland Putman; sisters, Bobbie Wright, Peggy Putman, Doris Hayes, Verlie Lee Rideout, Freeda Michael, Annett Putman, and Cassie Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
