Nancy Hull Webb – Obituary

Nancy Hull Webb of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away Friday, July 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born and grew up in LaFollette, TN. Nancy was the child of the late Paul Ledford and Cora Lee Porter. She graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in education and taught second grade at Highland Park Elementary for many years. Nancy was a founder and charter member of the Mt. Pleasant Benefit Ball after donating her time to the Maury County Benefit Ball. She owned and operated Grandmother’s Attic, a coffee shop/antique store in Mt. Pleasant. Nancy was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

The memorial service for Nancy will be at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, July 11, at 2:00 PM with Brother Roger Webb officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Nancy’s survivors include: her loving husband, Charles Webb; grandson, William (Mary Houston) McAlister Hull; daughter-in-law, Lisa Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Pat & Roger Webb; step-children, Charles Edward Webb III and Alison J. Chavez; cousin, Martha Jane Weaver; and special friends, Roxanne and Gary Howell. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sons, William Edward Hull, Jr. and Paul Jarvis Hull.

Nancy was an avid bridge player who loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her.
