Nancy Evelyn Stidham Reid, age 73 of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, August 17, 2015. Her family will receive friends Thursday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Frank Whitaker and Mark McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Nancy was raised in Phil Campbell. Prior to her retirement, she was a long time employee of H. D. Lee in Florence. She is survived by her husband; Rush T. Reid of Muscle Shoals, her mother; Elva Lou Stidham of Phil Campbell, daughters; Amanda Reid McCreary (Nicky) of Statesboro, GA, Gina Reid, of Birmingham, brother; Frank Stidham of Phil Campbell, sister; Jane Stidham Lynn of Scottsboro and grandchildren; Kristi McCreary Connell, Amber McCreary Strickland, two great-grandchildren; Ella Grace and Levi Connell.
Pallbearers are Dennis Reid, Jeff Reid, Jonathan Reid, Josh Reid, Dave Soldo and Josh Strickland.
The family is especially grateful to Laura Gann, Nicole Campbell and the staff of Hospice of North Alabama and her personal caregivers, Sue Hodges and Angelia Cross.
