Nancy Eulene Scarborough, 78 of Muscle Shoals, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 after an extended illness. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Thomas Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Nancy was a native of Blount County and grew up in Boaz. She has resided in Muscle Shoals for the past 40 years. She was the owner/operator of Brass Hardware and Accessories in Florence and a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals. Preceding her in death was her son, Roger Treadway.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Sam Scarborough; her son, Benny Treadway and wife, Harriet of Marietta, GA; daughters, Lynne Collins and husband, Dennis of Winchester, VA and Leslie Justice and husband Tim of Muscle Shoals.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Drew Collins, Tyler Treadway, Whit Treadway, Roger Treadway, Matthew Justice and Adam Clark.
Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters, Brooke Dixon, Allison Treadway, Rosalyn Clark, Hannah Justice; grandson, Johnathan Treadway and great grandson, Gabriel Nealis.
The family of Nancy expresses a very special “Thank You” to her devoted caregivers, Shelia Borden, Annie Early and Helen Bee.
