Nancy E. Williamson, age 68, of Decherd, TN, passed away on September 24, 2024, at her residence. She was born on January 16, 1956, in Nashville, TN, to the late Ester and Margie (Isabell) Adams. Before she became disabled, she worked as a school crossing guard for Metro Nashville for fifteen years. Nancy was of the Christian faith, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the foundation that kept her family together. She will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit. She was full of life, playful, and loved to prank her grandchildren. She also was a little bit stubborn and set in her own ways. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and shopping. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Bobbie Williamson, stepfather, Andy Potts. She is survived by her children, Angel Heslar (Chris), Gladys Rapheal (Ryan), John Potts (Bonnie), Bryan Williamson, Claud Williamson; sisters, Wanda Draper (Randy) and Darlene Parks; 29 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held at Watson Funeral Home on September 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM and again on Friday from 12:00 PM until 3:00PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 3:00PM in the Roy B. Watson chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. Garner Cemetery.
