Nancy E. Kitchens, 75 of Dora, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday Nov. 21, 22.
She was a retired mail carrier from the U. S. Postal service after 26 years of service. She attended Gardendale First Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Jones; her parents, Louis and Tooper Perry, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Kitchens; children, Scott Kitchens (Lindsey), Cindy Engelkemier (Doug) and Todd Kitchens (Vonda); grandchildren, Karlie Kitchens, Gracie, Abbie and Brodie Cousins, Faith, Blake and Trent Engelkemier, Will and Zach Kitchens and Chloe Ard; several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 2pm. Visitation will be from 1-2pm. Burial will be in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home directing 205-648-2323
