Nancy Basham Welch, age 69 of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Saturday, May 6, 2023, at her home. She was a native of Murfreesboro and a daughter of the late Fred Basham and Lois Lewis Basham. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Ann Fulks.
Survivors include her husband, Marcus Welch of Marietta, GA; a niece, Jaelynn Boschulte; lifelong friend, Shirley Alford; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Mrs. Basham grew up attending Kingwood Church of Christ. She had a heart of gold and an outgoing personality, always looking to the bright side of life.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Doug Hutchins officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
