Nancy Ann Salrin, a lifelong resident of the Santa Fe community, passed away peacefully with her devoted husband by her side. Born on Valentine’s Day, 1945, in Maury County, Tennessee, Nancy was the daughter of the late Olen and Oma Bradford Sutherland.
Nancy’s roots ran deep in Santa Fe, where she lived her entire life, finding joy and fulfillment in the simplicity and beauty of her hometown. A 1963 graduate of Santa Fe High School, Nancy was the class valedictorian. After graduation, she worked in insurance in Nashville for a time and later as a bookkeeper, but her most cherished roles were those of a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Nancy’s greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply and selflessly. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always placing her family’s needs above her own. With a warm heart and a sweet sense of humor, often accompanied by a knowing little smile, Nancy brought comfort and joy to those around her.
She appreciated the simple pleasures in life—spending time at home, reading, or walking with her beloved dogs. Nancy’s love for the Santa Fe community and the life she built there was evident in everything she did. Nancy Ann Salrin lived a life filled with love, laughter, and quiet grace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband: William Salrin; sons: Brent Salrin and Mark (Becky) Salrin; grandchildren: Farrah Salrin and Bennett Salrin.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the therapists, nurses, tech, and staff of NHC Maury for the excellent care they provided to Nancy.
