Services to celebrate the life of Nadia Hughes, 89, will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Prospect Cemetery in Selmer, TN. Visitation will be from 11 am until service time. Bro. Seth Kirkland will officiate the service.

Mrs. Hughes died on Saturday April 24, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Hospital. She was born in McNairy County on July 30, 1931. She was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church for 61 years where she was actively involved in the GA/s, WMU, nursery attendant and at one point was the church secretary. She worked in all areas of the insurance industry for Harry Crockett, Ronnie Pittman, Bill Dalton and several others. She loved her family and church friends. She enjoyed working in the yard, reading, spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Hughes (Angela) of Guys, TN, Tim Hughes (Debbie) and Mark Hughes (Sandy) both of Corinth; daughter-in-law, Robbie Hughes of Corinth; grandchildren, Josh Hughes (Lauren), Bo Hughes, Shandon Harris (Tasha), Anna Johnson (Timmy), Bree Arnold (Matt), Jacob Hughes (Aubrey), Sky Arnold (Briar) and Paisley Hughes; great-grandchildren, Anslee Kemp, Ella Kemp, Riley Johnson, Henry Hughes, Carter Harris, Pax Harris, Madi Henderson, Noah Henderson, Maddox Arnold, AbiGail Arnold, Milo Hughes, Max Hughes, Cooper Hughes, Bentley Arnold and Brody Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Willis; son, Stan Hughes; and the father of her children Robert J. “Frosty” Hughes. Online condolences can be left at www.MemorialCorinth.com for the Hughes family.
