Nadean was a member of Charles Creek The Baptist Church and worked for several years at Oster before becoming a dental assistant for the remainder of her working career. More importantly, she served as a pastor’s wife for over 40 years while Eddie pastored numerous churches in Warren, DeKalb, and surrounding counties.
Nadean, or “Tish” as she was named by her oldest granddaughter, was a resident of NHC HealthCare in Smithville from March 2019 until she passed. Tish was known and loved at NHC and when she was able, she would sit in her wheelchair near the nurses’ station and greet others who passed by, quite frequently instructing staff in what they should be doing. All of this endeared her to the nurses and staff, and the family wishes to extend its sincere gratitude and appreciation for the compassionate care Tish received while at NHC as well as the care provided by Dr. Doug Hooper and Dr. Jim Jenkins.
