Myrtleen Herston Abernathy, age 89, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016.
There will be a graveside service today at 2 p.m. at Bluewater Cemetery.
Mrs. Abernathy was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Abernathy, and two sons, Jimmy and Junior Herston.
Survivors include sons, Jerry Herston, and Ricky Herston (Joan); daughter, Shirley Watkins (Daniel); sister, Brenda Unland; brothers, Glenn and Billy Holden; ten Grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence, is directing.
