Myrtle Ozell Goodman, 93 of Tanner, Alabama died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Athens Convalescent Center in Athens, Alabama.
Born Friday, February 18, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Foster Watson and the late Annie Teeters Watson.
She was the wife of the late Harry Leroy Goodman. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and had lived in the Ardmore area all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Leon Watson, Robert Watson, and John B Watson, sister: Zana Costley, and a son Donnie Eugene Goodman.
Surviving are sons, Charles (Paulette) Goodman of Owens Cross Roads, AL and Dennis (Donnie) Goodman of Ardmore, AL, daughter, Carol (Donnie) McGuire of Tanner, AL, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
