Myrtle Eloise Credille Rikard, 84, entered into her heavenly rest on Thursday December 7, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a two year battle with cancer. She was born September 11, 1939 to the late Leonard Travis Credille and the late Audrey Holcomb Credille in Belmont. She was a graduate of Belmont High School and had lived the past 64 years in Fulton. Her working career included Blue Bell Manufacturing, being a florist and owning her own floral business and then retiring from North Mississippi Regional Center/ Itawamba Industries. Myrtle was a devoted caregiver to her mother and brother after retirement and was a faithful member of the Tilden Church of Christ for over 60 years.
Celebration of life service will be at 11 am on Friday December 8, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Donnie Garrison and Craig Russell officiating. Burial will be at Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10am – 11am on Friday December 8 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters; Debbie (Craig) Russell of Shannon, Susan (Donnie) Garrison of Fairview, four grandchildren; Stephanie Sellers, Alex (Kate) Sellers, Brett Summerford, and Bo Summerford, one great grandson; Madden Christopher Sellers, and one brother; Joe (Carolyn) Credille of Belmont, one nephew; Brian (Christy) Credille, and one niece; Laura (Jody) McClung, and their children; Marlie and Bruce McClung.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Bob Rikard; her parents and one brother, Braxton Credille.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Charleston Place Assisted Living in Fulton as well as the nurses and caregivers on 5 South and in the hospice unit at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that you perform random acts of kindness during the holiday season in her memory.
