Mr. Myron Myers, 73, of Vestavia Hills, AL passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Overstreet officiating. Visitation will precede services from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Mr. Myers was a 1967 graduate of Etowah High School and a 1973 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned his degree in Chemistry. He was the owner and CEO of Select Medical Systems, Inc. A drug screening facility and medical instrumentation sales.
He was a member of The Church at Liberty Park, Vestavia, AL and an avid golfer and Alabama football fan
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents, James O. and Betty Myers, as well as, his first wife, Sherry Snider Myers.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Mathews Myers; brother, Terry (Barbara) Myers; brother-in-law, Howell (Deborah) Mathews; nieces, Ciera (Zack) Brown, McKenzie Myers and Ashley (Tom) Gatlin; nephews, Tony (Kayla) Myers, Alan Parker, Brianna (Marshall) Henson and Will Mathews; canine babies, Layla and Midnight; special friends, Bill and Gail Smith, Donald and Gwen Rice, Herbert Rothrock, Randy and Rita Holcomb, Brenda Sexton, Jacy Akbar and Giles Kilgore, Wayne Snider, Shirley and Al Smith, Myra Tedder and many much loved cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to The Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
