Funeral service for Myra Dianne Russell Duncan, 72, will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe McAbee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born September 5, 1951, in Morgan County, to David Russell and Annie Mae Campbell Russell.
Myra was a faithful and loving wife to her husband, Dowell Duncan. She was also a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and loved everone she met. To know her was to truly know love. She was a loving Aunt to all her nieces and nephews, greats and great greats alike. Myra loved her furbabies, watching birds in her yard, enjoyed Lacon and her thrift stores.
Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers: John, Donald and James Russell.
