Myra Ann Jones, 86, of Moulton, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Redmond Talley officiating. Burial will be at Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
Born on May 3, 1938 to Winford and Erin Alexander Glover, Myra loved singing gospel music and spent over 50 years traveling and singing with her husband. A member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, she will be remembered as an excellent cook and seamstress.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Sonny Jones; son, Timothy (Cathy) Jones; granddaughter, Candace Jones; sister, Faye Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Glyn Glover.
Pallbearers will be Roger Jones, Terry Hunter, Greg Gillespie, Wesley Montgomery, Greg Dutton, and Scott Glover.
