Musie L. “Bootsie” Blankenship, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her parents, Willie H. and Myrtle L. Thomas, nine brothers and sisters, daughter, Deborah K. Moore, and grandson, Brian Christian Moore. She retired after 11 years as a teacher at Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church Daycare.
Survivors include son, Jeff Blankenship; sister, Clara Stewart; and grandsons, Bradley Moore (Beth) and Wesley Blankenship.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at 11 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
