Mr. Murry “Butch” Boone, age 73, passed away early Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Adamsville. He was born July 4, 1951 in Jackson to the late Dallas and Marie Sanders Boone. He worked for Procter and Gamble for several years and retired from Premier Manufacturing Company in Henderson. He was a member of Scotts Hill Baptist Church and he loved going to see The Inspirations and The McKameys.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Boone and one sister, Edith Collins.
Survivors include his son, Derick Boone (Britney); two daughters, Laura Boone Adam (Ben) and Katie Boone; two sisters, Lillie Holt (Mitchell) and Annie Rogers (Don); four grandchildren, Bryce Boone, Jaylynn Boone, Wyatt Boone, and Logan Adam; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Monday, December 30, 2024, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 4 – 8 PM and on Monday, 11 AM – 2 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
