Murrell Elaine Turner Haney, 82, of Valley Head, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home. She was born June 20, 1937 in DeKalb County, Alabama to the late Luchion and Esther Turner. Ms. Haney attended Violet Hill Baptist Church since 1952.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20th at Violet Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
She is survived by her children: Roger Haney and wife, Glenda, Darrell Haney and wife, Nina, and Sandra Haney; grandchildren, Terrie Stanford, Brent Haney, Benji Haney, Tiffany Graham, Dusty Holkem, and Ashley Holkem; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
