Multi-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 65 Takes Life Of One Person

CULLMAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a multi-vehicle accident tht has taken the lie of one person and sent another person to hospital:

“A multi-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:53 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, has claimed the life of a Pelham man.

Methuselah J. Kadigi, 53, was fatally injured when the 2023 Ram van that he was driving struck the 2017 Volvo tractor- trailer driven by Deschan L. Davis, 25, of Hueytown. The Ram van was then struck by the 2006 Toyota Camry driven by Tyler B. Moore, 35, of Double Springs. Prior to impact, the Volvo overturned across the roadway and struck two guardrails.

Kadigi was pronounced deceased at the scene. Moore was injured and transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center (CRMC) for treatment.

The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near Cullman County 436, approximately two miles south of Cullman, in Cullman County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
