Masonic Graveside service for Mr. Doyle Dee Bryant, age 72, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Masonic Chaplain Gene Anderton officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryant, who died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Parkway Medical Center, was born , March 24, 1941 in Lawrence County, to William Almon Bryant and Lettie Layton Bryant. He was a member of Cahaba Shrine Temple, VFW, Lifetime member of the Elks and Rising Sun Lodge 29.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bryant of Decatur; his son Christopher Blake Bryant of Decatur; his daughter-in-law, Charlotte Smith of Decatur; step-daughter, Angela Oliver (Carey) of Huntsville; grandchildren, Amy Earls (Noah) of Decatur, John Carey Oliver and Mary Leigh Oliver all of Huntsville and his great granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Earls.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
