Moulton Man Dies From Injuries Sustained In Two-Vehicle Accident On Friday Friday

MOULTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency report a two-vehiclle accident  involving a golf cart has taken the life of one person.  The accident happened on Friday, October 22:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 22, has claimed the life of a Moulton man.

Benny R. Kimbrough, 81, was fatally injured when the 2001 Yamaha G16A Golf Cart he was driving across the roadway and was struck by a 2006 GMC Sierra, driven by Janetia Owens, 67 of Moulton.

Kimbrough sustained serious injuries and was transported to Huntsville Hospital. At approximately 4:01 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, Kimbrough succumbed to those injuries and was pronounced deceased by the hospital staff.

The crash occurred on Lawrence County 460, approximately five miles west of Moulton. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
