ETOWAH COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle has taken the life of one person near Hokes Bluff in Etowah County:
“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 6:40 p.m. Saturday, September 10, has claimed the life of a Leesburg man.
Bobby Dean Garmon, 60, was fatally injured when the 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle that he was operating, left the roadway and struck a culvert. Garmon was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Centre Road near Ballplay Drive, approximately four miles north of Hokes Bluff, in Etowah County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
