Funeral service for Morris Ray Humphrey, 77, will be Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Sellers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Etha Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Humphrey died on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born September 24, 1943, in Calhoun County to Orbie Humphrey and Lela Kemp Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey was a member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church in Morgan County and served as a Deacon at his home church, Etha Baptist Church. He never met a stranger and like to shake a hand when he met someone. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, his family was his most loved asset. He was a Carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with wood and working with his hands. He like Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter: Amanda Leigh Humphrey.
