Morris Edward Alexander, 82 of Hazel Green, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born March 6, 1939 to Jim and Hattie Mae Alexander in Limestone County, AL. He was a great father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family. He was a roofer by trade and a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. He was also known for his sense of humor and loved to pick and joke.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife Janice Alexander; sister Patricia George (Loran); daughters: Mildred Darlene Worden (Robert), Angela Ann Durrance (Donnie), Heidi Mae Rippey and Candi Michelle Alexander; grandchildren: Joseph Morgan Worden (Stefanie), Michael Allen Sharp, Bobby Lynn Sharp, Aaron Marshall Alexander and Rodney Cole Rippey; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Robert Edward Lee Worden, Jr.; and granddaughter Amy LeAnn Sharp.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Spry Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
