MORGAN COUNTY-On July 31st into the early hours of August 1st, 2024, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit executed six search warrants across Morgan County:
one in Lacey’s Spring, two in Union Hill, and three in Decatur.
The search warrants come on the heels of numerous investigations having been initiated by Agents involving illegal narcotics.
During the execution of the search warrants, Agents located large quantities of:
methamphetamine
cocaine
crack cocaine
fentanyl
numerous drug paraphernalia
firearms
controlled substance medication
and United States currency
During the operations, Agents charged the following:
Darren Keith Davis, 60 of Lacey’s Spring – Trafficking in Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and numerous felony Probation Violations. Bond $255,300.00
Kathryn Sharafi, 48 of Union Hill – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond $1600.00
Theodore Giers, 52 of Union Hill – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. No bond.
Mark Anthony Buckmeir, 48 of Lacey’s Spring – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond $1300.00
Michael Buckmeir, 46 of Lacey’s Spring- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond $300.00
Danielle Nannette Huff, 38 of Somerville – Loitering in a Drug House. Bond $300.00
Lori Allison Owens, 39, -FTA Warrant. No Bond
Brittany Michelle Parker, 37 – Probation Violation warrants (Felony). No bond
In addition to those charged and as the investigations continue, additional persons will be charged and arrested.
