Emily has a big problem: Not only is she sent to bed just as she reaches the highest levelunnamed (4) of her new video game, but there’s a monster in her closet! Her friend Stephanie saw it, too. What the girls don’t realize is that Murray, the closet monster, doesn’t mean any harm—he only wants to play Emily’s new video game. He’s too scared of kids to even think about trying to frighten them. Murray’s boss, the Dream King, has put Murray on probation because every monster knows that when a child is born, a monster is assigned to watch over her, not to play with her toys and certainly not to be seen! What will happen when Emily has all her friends over for a sleepover to try to capture Murray? With other wonderful characters like Sandy the Sandman, dream weavers, Emily’s pesky brother, and Toady, the solution to Murray’s problem brings humor and a bit of magic to this delightful show.

“I am thrilled to invite the community in to this magical world of friendly monsters and fun that we have been able to create with children who are mastering their love for the performing arts. They are biting at the bits to be in front of an audience to show Florence their talent, and I am so proud to have the opportunity to see them learn more and more about acting. ”said Director Emily Borden.

The creative team includes Robb Girnus (set design), Wendy Girnus (costume design), Chad Farley (sound design), Matt Chesley and Jim Lake (lighting design).
