Graveside Service for Monica Gibson Klansky, age 83 of Cullman, will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Erie, PA.
Mrs. Klansky passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Cullman Regional. She was born, January 12, 1941 in Bridgeport, CT to James Henry Gibson and Lillian Gibson.
Monica relocated from upstate NY to Cullman, AL with her husband Kevin in 2019. They were drawn to the warmer weather and stayed because of the wonderful people. Monica was a devout Catholic who enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, taking care of people and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Klansky; parents; brothers, Jim Gibson, Ron Gibson; and sister Joyce Mullane. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Bill) Beiter, Kevin (Laura) Klansky, Christopher (Barbara) Klansky, Coleen (Bill) Busler, Kate Klansky, and Kristen (Matt) Carll; grandchildren, Beth (Kiran) Devaraj, Christie (Jayson) Dela Cruz, Bill (Bethany) Beiter, Jr., Julie (Andrew) Januska, Shea Beiter, Megan (Shawn) Ferger, Maxwell (Gabriela) Klansky, Alissa (Jacob) McCall, Christopher (Michele) Klansky, Jr., Lily Busler, Grace Busler, Carrie (Joe) Laiosa, Hunter, Grant, and Luke Terrones; great-grandchildren, Ashoka, Chaithan, Mira, Helayna, Jayden, Shayne, Lia Grayce, Gabriel, Madelyn, Evan, Isabel, Genevieve, Charlotte, Makenna, Brynn, Easton, Theo, Brayden, Caroline, and Natalie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
