Monica Camille Yopp was born March 10, 1980 in Jackson, TN the daughter of Jerry and the late Sheila Bass Campbell.
She was united in marriage to Jonathan Yopp on July 25, 1998.
Monica graduated from Middleton High School and earned an associate degree in Nursing from Jackson State Community College. She formerly managed Spire Rehabilitation in Jackson, TN and served as the ER Director for McNairy Regional Hospital. She also worked in the Cardiac Stepdown unit for Methodist Hospital in Germantown. Her most recent employment was with Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, where she worked as a registered nurse and ER clinical manager. Spending time with her husband and sons, staying at their cabin, golfing, and going to the beach were some of Monica’s favorite activities. She was a faithful member of the Fourth Street church of Christ in Selmer.
Monica departed this life on March 4, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 42 Years, 11 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jonathan Yopp of Selmer, TN; two sons, Andru Yopp and Aidan Yopp, both of Selmer, TN; her father, Jerry Campbell of Middleton, TN; a sister, Heather Jordan and husband Matt of Charlotte, NC; a nephew, Gavin Jordan, and niece, Graylie Jordan, both of Charlotte, NC; her paternal grandmother, Viola Campbell of Bolivar, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Monica was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Cecil Campbell, and maternal grandparents Olion and Melba Bass.
