Molly O’Day Kilgore, 81, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Athens, Alabama. She was born in Goodsprings, Alabama on Monday, October 12, 1942, to Brady Freeman Bolton and Elsie Mae Hendon Bolton.
Ms. Kilgore has lived in the Ardmore area for 20 years. She enjoyed yard sales, thrifting, selling jewelry, and most of all going to the beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Smith, and brothers, Frank Bolton and Truman Bolton.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Kilgore and David Kilgore; daughter, Sherryl (Gary) Craig; grandchildren: Misti, Kristopher, Jennifer, Adam, and Addison, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
The family has made plans to have a Memorial Service at a later date.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
