Dr. Molly Anna Stewart Profile Photo Dr. Molly Anna Stewart, our beloved daughter and friend to many, passed to be with her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2023. She was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine for approximately 15 years. She made her residence in Eugene, Oregon, until recently when she came to move in with her recently widowed mother. Besides her love for animals, she enjoyed music, playing the clarinet, playing the piano, where she played Guild and her senior recital and was beginning to sing in the choir. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America while in high school and recieved her Gold Award. While living in Oregon, she attended the Willamette Christian Church, and after returning home, she began attending her home church , First Presbyterian Church in Corinth.

Molly was a 1991 graduate of Kossuth High School where she was an honor student, salutatorian, a band member and played basketball. She graduated from Millsaps College with a BS in Science in May 1996. Before vet school, she worked as a vet tech at a clinic in Memphis. She attended Mississippi State Veterinary School and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in the Class of 2005.

Molly is survived by her mother, Rebecca Stewart of Corinth; her brother, Gordon Douglas Stewart and wife Tracey Allen Stewart; two nephews, Benjamin Stewart and wife Lexie and Elijah Stewart all of Tupelo, her dear friend, Labrista Wadkins; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, David Gordon Stewart.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations please be made to the Alcorn County/ Corinth Humane Society in honor of Molly’s love for animals. There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service held at a later date.
