Mollie Jeanette Humphrey, age 81, of Hartselle, Alabama, formerly of Lewisburg, died Friday, April 5, 2024, at her residence in Alabama.
She was born May 22, 1942, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late John Head and Henrietta Cope Head. She is survived by her husband, Hulon L Humphrey, Hartselle, AL and formerly of Lewisburg; son Malcolm (Crystal) Humphrey, Hartselle, AL; daughter, Kaye Swindell, LaVergne, TN; three grandchildren, Madison Humphrey, Brandon Swindell and Brandi Baldridge; three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jeffrey Swindell.
Mollie was the office manager and administrative assistant for several companies during her career including Barker’s Milk, Hibbett Sporting Goods and ICP in Lewisburg. She loved to work and spent some of her later years working at WalMart. She was a huge University of Alabama fan and enjoyed cheering the teams on with her family whom she loved dearly. Her husband was involved in the horse business and she was by his side helping him run the business. Mollie loved Jesus and was a longtime member of the Bethel Baptist Church Choir in Moody, Alabama. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery – Cornersville.
