Moira Haver Cameron, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023.
A visitation for Moira will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home wit Pastor Nathan Green officiating. Moira will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Moira Haver Cameron is survived by her two sons Joshua T. Cameron (MaKayla), and Preston A. Cameron. Her grandsons Atlas J. Cameron, her mother Trudell F. Haver and her sister Cassandra H. King (Sean). Her nieces Catherine H. Cone, Emily C. Cone, nephew Thomas F. Cone III, and her fiance’ Billy P. Barkley.
She was preceded in death by her father James E. Haver, and her husband Danny C. Cameron.
Moria was born on July 7, 1963 in Dugway, Utah to James and Trudell Haver. Soon after her birth, the family moved to Decatur, Al where she was raised. Moira is a 1981 graduate of Austin High School. After graduation, she earned her degree in Cosmetology at Calhoun Community College.
She married Danny Cameron in 1990 and they moved to Harvest, AL and had two sons, Joshua and Preston Cameron. In 2008, they moved to Florida and lived in Tamarac until 2016. In 2016 the family moved back to Decatur. Moira re connected with a former schoolmate, Billy Barkley in 2021 around the time of their 40th High School Reunion. They were engaged and were to be married in July of this year.
Pallbearers will be Josh Cameron, Preston Cameron, Catherine Cone, Thomas Cone, Billy Barkley, and Sean P. King.
