Mitchell Edward “Bo” Smith ,88 of Bridgeport Alabama passed away August 18,2024 at his home.
He is survived by his daughter- Gail Kirk; Grandchildren-Jennifer Kirk (John Reichle), Crystal (John Dawson) Kirk, Desirae Sowinski (Tim Bankston), Melissa Mathis, and Meshauna Sowinski.
He also left eleven Great-Grandchildren and four Great-Great-Grandchildren. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, Leola Marie Smith; Parents, Mitchell Clarence and Mary Helen Newberry Smith; Son, Jeffery Byron Smith; and siblings, Greely Smith, Nellie Sue Wilson, Lela Mae Landers, Eva Joe Barnswell, Gladys Kirk, Syble Byron, Floyd Nabors, Alfred Nabors, Lois Gossett, Marion Lee Nabors, and James Nabors.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport Alabama. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 22,2024 in the chapel at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport beginning at 1:00PM, burial will follow in St. Bonaventure cemetery in Bridgeport Alabama.
