LACEYS SPRING-Please share with all your Facebook friends. we are currently underway with a search for a missing person. Mr. Fredrick Howard Payne walked away from his home in Laceys Spring sometime after 1 am this morning. Mr. Payne is approximately 70 years old with gray hair and a full beard. He is believed to be wearing black pants and a black coats and walking with his two shih-tzu dogs. He may be heading to the Huntsville Alabama area, requesting rides from motorists. If anyone has seen Mr. Payne, Please contact the Morgan County Sheriffs Office at 256-301-1174. Time is essential in this search due to weather conditions and approaching nightfall. We have our mobile command post set up at senior center in Laceys Spring on Hwy 36. Thank you for your help
