Miriam Wright, 88, of Piedmont, passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Deborah (Debbie) Wright, Lorraine (Dale) Guyer, and Colleen (Michael) Thorne. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Stephanie Bissonette, Amanda Lathrop, Cody Thorne, Kaitlynn Thorne, Amy Lowe, Heather Romanski, Mary Ellen Wright, Jason Guyer, and Erin Hamilton; her two sisters, Dorothy Wright and Florence Seekings of New York; and many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Miriam was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence Wright, and her parents Thomas Schroder and Amy Batson Schroder. She is also preceded by her dearly-missed children Michael Wright and Laurie Wright Chester.
Miriam was born in North Harmony, New York and was a constant companion and caretaker to her daughter Debbie. She moved to Alabama from Erie, PA in 2015 and was originally a resident of Jacksonville before settling in Piedmont.
Miriam requested there be no memorial service, the family will be hosting a small gathering Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 12:00pm.
