Miriam Hoyle Gates, 89, of Huntsville passed away Monday surrounded by her family and friends at her residence. Survivors include her daughter: Laura Miriam Gates; one son: John S. Gates and wife: Pennie; her sisterin-law: Isabelle Hoyle; two grandchildren: Laura Elaine and John DeWayne and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
