Miranda McGinnis Harvey age 68 of Alexandira, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, February 4, 2024 at her residence. Miranda was born January 29, 1956 in Nashville and adopted at birth by the late Elder Grady and Athlene McGinnis. Her birth mother’s only request was that she go to a good Christian home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harvey and grandson, Gradyn Elijah Harvey. Miranda was a realtor with Crye-Leike Realty in Lebanon, she was a member of the M.T.A.R. and was a faithful member of Helton Creek The Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, 3 sons, Randal (Tara) Harvey of Mt. Juliet, Kevin (Angelia) Harvey of Alexandria and Chad (Kayla) Harvey of Alexandria; 5 grandchildren, Kailey, Wyatt, Jack, Haddeigh Grace and Parker Kayte Harvey. Funeral services will be 2:PM Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Helton Creek The Baptist Church with Bros. Frank Randolph and Gary Glover officiating and burial will follow in Hillview Cemetery with Bro. Eric Wood officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 1:PM until 8:PM and Thursday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM. In addition to flowers, donations can be made to an education fund for her 5 grandchildren. All Visitation and Services will be held at the Helton Creek The Baptist Church, 4152 Lower Helton Road, Alexandria, TN 37012. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Harvey family.
