Minnie Lee Cupp Tucker, age 92, died Sunday December 01, 2024, at her residence in Pontotoc. She was born November 24, 1932, in Hickory Flat MS, to Joseph Minter and Sarah Cupp. She was a member of Victory Life Church in New Albany. She spent many years working in the North Pontotoc Cafeteria as well as a self-employed seamstress making handbags. Minnie enjoyed spending time with her family and her chickens.
A visitation will be held from 2-4pm Tuesday December 3 at Victory Life Church in New Albany. A service will follow at 4pm with Bro. Mark Bishop and Bro. Jonathan Vazquez officiating. Burial will follow at West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to help the Tucker family with arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Joe Tucker (Beverly) of Pontotoc, Yolanda Tucker-Hall (Bobby) of New Albany, Mark Tucker (Sherry Phillips) of Pontotoc, Tim Tucker (Lorena) of Pontotoc and Eric Tucker (Anna) of Pontotoc; one special daughter, Karen Thomas; one brother, Joseph Myran Cupp; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchild and three former foreign exchange students, Frederic Martinez of France, Roger Seidel of Germany and Tharatip Aramcharoen of Thailand. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband of 62 years, William Baxter Tucker; Sister, Mildred Cupp Goolsby; Brothers, Aaron, Ralph, Billy, Victor, George, and Luther Cupp; Grandson, Lance Cpl. Marc Lucas Tucker and Great grandson, Brian Weeden.
The Pallbearers will be the Great Grandchildren.
