Minnie Goodlett, age 90, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Glencoe, AL and a retired LPN. She was a member of Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Vincent DePaul Society in Huntsville, AL.
Mrs. Goodlett took Mr. Goodlett’s place in the machine shop where he was employed in order for him to serve in the Marines in WWII. She was a policewoman in Decatur, AL. She served as a nurse in Decatur, Huntsville, and also at the Redstone Army Hospital. She was an avid artist with numerous paintings. She really enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Isaac and Betsy Ann Reeser Reagan; her husband, Howard Lee Goodlett, two brothers, Roy Reagan and Thomas Reagan; and three sisters, Rettie Underwood, Roxie Goodlett, and Mary Goodlett.
