Minnie Chalk, 87, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Friday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday at Garner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodville Cemetery.
Mrs. Chalk was a retired waitress and home interior decorator.
The widow of Bill Chalk, she is survived by 3 daughters Sheilah Allen of Gates, Christy Ellis (Lathan) of Ripley, and Annette Chalk of Ripley; a son Dennis Chalk (Rosemary) of Millington; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son David Chalk and a son-in-law Gary Allen.
