Minnie B. Faulkner – Obituary

minnieMinnie B. Faulkner, 90, of Florence, died Friday October 3, 2014, at Glenwood Health Care. Visitation will begin at 1pm today, Sunday October 5, 2014, at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the service at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Faulkner was born on December 15, 1923, in Wayne Co., TN to the late G. D. and Altie Bowen. She married Walter Edward Faulkner on December 22, 1943, and was widowed on August 13, 1954. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Town Creek, Sweetwater Mills, Genesco and Tee Jays Manufacturing. Mrs. Faulkner was a loving mother and grandmother who raised four children and was loved by all her friends. A dedicated Jehovah’s Witness she lived what she believed. She is sleeping peacefully now.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Tim and grandchildren, Renee Vaden and Brian Faulkner. Survivors are her children: Faye Pitts (Eardie), Pat Wright (Bill) and Michael Faulkner (Pat); brothers, Lee Bowen and Emory Bowen; sisters, Ester Berry and Della Faulkner; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Faulkner, Ronnie Carpenter, Eddie Vaden, Jason Faulkner, Bo Smith, Zack Smith and B. J. Carpenter.
The family would like to thank the staff at Glenwood Health Care who cared for her with love.
