Minerva Lou Lambert Fowler – Obituary

Minerva Lou Lambert Fowler was born July 18, 1935 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Jodie and Bertha Richards Lambert. She was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church in Corinth, MS. For many years Minerva, aka “Nanny”, would sit with the elderly and she enjoyed that very much. She also enjoyed scratching lottery tickets, yard sales, collecting glass roosters, hummingbird watching and gospel music at 5 am every morning with her coffee. Minerva departed this life on September 4, 2017 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 1 Month, 17 Days.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Hopkins and wife Kristy of Rienzi, MS and Sandra Harty of Michie, TN; a brother, Douglas Lambert of Michie, TN; thirteen grandchildren: Tanner Hopkins and wife Jennifer, Leesa Hausmann and husband Matt, Robert Stacey, Jodie Stacey and wife Lisa, Inga Gray, Erica Stacey, Eugene Stacey and wife Wyndrum, Nick Stacey, Amanda Deiter, Christa Scott and husband Bo, Lisa Camacho, Chris Nolan and wife Amanda and Nicole Nolan; 28 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; best friend and family friend, Carol South and Doris Ann Dark.

In addition to her parents, Minerva was preceded in death by two brothers, Cletus and J. C. Lambert.
