Minaleen Hood White, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired cook at E.O. Coffman Middle School, homemaker, Christian, a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church and Ethridge Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mina and Pauline Nutt Hood; her husband, Sammy White; and one brother, Travis Hood.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 28, 2015, with Mickey Brackin, Jerry Geho, and Robin Kidd officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Wayne County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Gideon’s International.
