Milton Wayne Hudson Profile PhotoMilton Wayne Hudson, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center in Fairfield, Ohio. Wayne was a member of Campground Methodist Church in Iuka and a member of Winchester Lodge #158 F&AM in Winchester, TN. He worked most of his life as a lab technician and finished his career at Iuka Hospital. Wayne was the type of person that had never met a stranger, was always ready to go somewhere, and loved getting people together for cookouts. Whether he was off metal detecting, hitting the casino, or collecting Civil War memorabilia, he stayed on the go. Some of his favorite pastimes included golfing, playing guitar, getting scratch-offs, and spending time with his family. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Corey Simmons (Robbie); his grandchild, Eli Simmons; his sisters, Jeanette Wadkins (the late Mack Loyd Wadkins) and Sandra Hackmann (Dave); his nieces and nephews, Dr. Randy Wadkins, Ronald Wadkins, Risa Smith (Alan), Todd Berry (Nicole), and Ryan Finney (Genesys); several great-nieces and great-nephews; his great friends, Dale Moore, Emory Jones, Dr. Al Flannery, and Sandra Hall Smith; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Milton Floyd Hudson; his cousins, Linda and Bobby Phifer; his aunts and uncles; and his brother-in-law, Mack Loyd Wadkins. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jerry Bonds. Pallbearers include Robbie Simmons, Ryan Finney, Todd Berry, Ron Wadkins, Harold Lomenick, and Paul Runyan. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Randy Wadkins, Barney Hudson, and Danny Hudson. Interment will be in Camp Ground Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his honor to Camp Ground Methodist Church (C/O Barney Hudson).
