Milton “Milt” Robert Ensinger, peacefully passed away at the age of 83 in Huntsville, Alabama. Born in Kent, Ohio, Milt was strong, disciplined, and hardworking. Growing up on a farm, he learned the value of a good day’s work and received many awards and recognitions through his local 4-H club. Through his quiet strength and dedication, he made a significant impact on those around him.
Milt is survived by his beloved wife, Suzie E. Ensinger, and their blended family, Michael, Scott (Amy), Eric and Jaxsen, and Lisa (Jodi) Ensinger, Cynthia (Shawn), Wes, and Sarie Headrick-King of Huntsville, Michael (Amber), David and Jude Moore of Hartselle and Mark, Tate, and Marielle Wood of Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Ensinger.
As a graduate of Kent State University, Milt dedicated his life to serving his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 22 years of service as a Major. Milton’s military associations were an integral part of his life, and he contributed greatly to the field of computer system communications, and military support systems. After retirement he continued to support his country at Redstone Arsenal.
Milt found comfort in various hobbies. He was an avid gardener, a skilled woodworker, and had a passion for coin collecting. These interests showcased his meticulous nature and attention to detail.
His final resting place will be Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, Ohio.
