Mr. Milton Lee Brock, age 71, a Spencer resident passed away Wednesday September 8, 2021 at Saint Thomas Dekalb Hospital from a brief illness. Milton was born on March 30, 1950 to the late Ernest and Pearl Whittenburg Brock. Milton was a factory worker, an avid deer hunter and attended the Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his loving wife; Bonnie Mooneyham Brock, brothers; Clifford, Earl Kay, Buck, Cledy and Eugene Brock, sisters; Helen Ann Myers and Beulah Presley.
Milton is survived by his loving family; sons; Tony (Emma) Brock of Sparta, Wayne (Jessica) Brock of Spencer and Jason (Lillie) Brock of Sparta, daughter; Diana (Richard) Garrell of Sparta, brothers; Olden (Darlene) Brock of Pikeville, James (Wanda) Brock of Dunlap and Tom Brock of Pikeville, sister; Della Mae (Jack), grandchildren; Jacob (Justina) Brock, Matthew, Cody, Candy and Cheyenne Brock, Kaylee and Brookelyn Garrell, great-grandchildren; Haiti Denton, Haven and Hakena Davis, Angelina and Emmy Jo Griffin, Dawson and Lacie Brock, and Athena Skarzynski.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 11, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Tim Judd and Bro. R. C. Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation times are, Friday September 10th 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday September 11th 10:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
